I mean, yeah, change is constant, which is good. But please don’t lose your stupid, chaotic and annoying charm, like your love for music and filter kaapi. And, please don’t ever increase the prices of movie tickets. That is simply one of the best. And maybe don’t over-commercialize the beach zones.
But you know, some things you should consider to change include cleaning up, and perhaps learning of this thing called traffic rules and violations.
Anyway. Quote collect :
“An ending was an ending. No matter how many pages of sentences and paragraphs of great stories led up to it, it would always have the last word.”
―Sarah Dessen, Along for the Ride“i do not say ‘good-bye.’ i believe that’s one of the bullshittiest words ever invented. it’s not like you’re given the choice to say ‘bad-bye’ or ‘awful-bye’ or ‘couldn’t-care-less-about-you-bye.’ every time you leave, it’s supposed to be a good one. well, i don’t believe in that. i believe against that.”
― David Levithan and John Green, Will Grayson, Will Grayson
“I was trying to feel some kind of good-bye. I mean I’ve left schools and places I didn’t even know I was leaving them. I hate that. I don’t care if it’s a sad good-bye or a bad good-bye, but when I leave a place I like to know I’m leaving it. If you don’t you feel even worse.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye“Certain things, they should stay the way they are. You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and just leave them alone.”
―J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
“Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn’t stop for anybody.”
I have fond memories from Chennai as I lived there for a year, I wonder how is it now…

Ah! It’s probably changed, but I’m sure, it still is distinctly Chennai in the underlying essence of what this city is. 🙂
